Maharishi is a modern utilitarian high-end fashion brand founded by Hardy Blechman in 1994. They draw inspiration from both military equipment and nature to create a unique blend of style reflected in their clothing, accessories and equipment. In 2022, they released a water bottle in collaboration with Klean Kanteen, a well-known canister company making water bottles and food canisters for hikers. This bottle was modeled after my own Maharishi bottle during a train ride in 2023. The model was subdivsion modeled in Blender, while all texturing was finished in Substance Painter. Dynamic water splashes were simulated in Houdini with FLIP fluids. The brutalist scene shown reflects the militaristic & utilitarian design aspects that Maharishi strives for.
